Congestive Heart Failure Clinics

CVI follows your symptoms and monitors your treatment. Medications are continually reviewed for appropriateness. Education and support are stressed.

CVI Generic Drug Program

The CVI Generic Drug Program is an in-Office dispensing clinic for generic drugs.

We offer most of the same generic drugs you can get at a retail pharmacy with benefits! Experience reduced wait time, easier access to drugs and low cost!

Holter Monitor

A 24-48 hour Holter Monitor provides a continuous ECG so that your daily heart rhythm can be analyzed. A Holter Monitor is worn at home and at work; you keep a diary of your daily routine and activities in order to correlate your activity to your heart rhythm and rate.

Nuclear Cardiology

Nuclear Cardiology includes scans that are performed to record the flow of blood into the heart muscle in order to detect blockages or muscle damage.

A Nuclear Stress Test is an exercise-based test performed on a treadmill or bicycle while your ECG is monitored for changes in heart rhythm.

EECP® (Enhanced External Counter Pulsations

EECP® is a non-invasive, mechanical procedure that can create new coronary artery collaterals. Coronary blood vessels feed the heart muscle and provide it with oxygen. EECP® assists in the development of collaterals, which grow and take over the blood supply in blocked arteries. In effect, collaterals are nature’s way of forming a bypass. Most people have the ability to form collaterals naturally, but it is a slow process. EECP® quickly accelerates the rate of growth of collaterals.

The growth of new coronary artery collaterals is analagous to multiple shoots growing out of the roots of a plant. In this way, the heart muscle does not have to rely on one or two major branches of arteries; instead, it has many tiny blood vessels that supply the heart muscle with blood and essential oxygen. Studies have demonstrated that a single course of EECP® will have lasting effects for at least 3 1/2 years. This course of therapy can be repeated, as it is a simple non-invasive procedure.

Dr. Jamnadas has been performing EECP® on patients since 1994 and has the largest EECP® experience in Central Florida. EECP® is FDA-approved and covered by most insurance companies.

Vascular Laboratory

Lipid Clinic

Lipid Clinics specialize in determining your cholesterol level without painful blood draws. This involves a single finger-prick, and the results of the test are available in two minutes. A cholesterol evaluation will enable your doctor to understand your risk of heart disease and suggest prevention strategies or treatment options.

Coumadin® Clinic

Coumadin® Clinics eliminate the need for painful blood draws and instead provides a new finger-stick method of blood analysis. This test is performed at CVI and ensures that accurate results are available in two minutes. Any changes to your Coumadin® dosage will be made when the results of your test come.
